Victorian and Edwardian terraces run through Caversham, Katesgrove and the streets off the Oxford Road; interwar semis fill Tilehurst and Whitley; Lower Earley is dense 1980s estate housing; and the centre is dominated by converted and purpose-built flats.
Typical bathroom sizes
Terrace bathrooms are typically 1.7m by 2.0m in a rear return, often with the boiler in the same room. Tilehurst and Whitley semis give you around 2.1m by 2.2m over the hall.
